French etiquette simply would advise you not to answer.
“Il n’y a pas de quoi” . It is friendly and can be slightly familiar but it’s informal and acceptable.
If you want to answer to a person saying “merci” you can say also:
What do you think is the #1 cause of why relationships nowadays don't seem to last long?
“Pas de problème” is common and sounds uneducated. It’s often used though.
“c’est un plaisir” or “avec plaisir” “c’est mon plaisir” is polite.
“De rien” is not correct although it is often heard. Avoid it. It should be “Ce n’est rien”.
Are MAGA the "useful idiots" for the radical-right billionaires like Charles Koch and Elon Musk?
“ je t’en prie/ je vous en prie” .It is polite.
